Description of Program:

I used this craft in correspondence with a Fourth of July story time. It is a simple, colorful, not to mention quiet!, way for children to create fireworks.

Each child is given a piece of white card stock paper, while I demonstrated dipping the fork tongs into the paint and gently pressing the paint covered tongs onto the paper. Picking up another paint covered fork, pressing the new color down in a cross hatching pattern.

About $15.00, although most may have existing supplies.

Kids had a great time mixing paints to create amazing fireworks. Can use as many (or as little) colors as you like.
