Delivery is a service of LibraryLinkNJ - the New Jersey Library Cooperative. Participating members are obligated to use this service to send materials to and receive materials from other participating members to support resource sharing through interlibrary loan and reciprocal borrowing. The receiving/shipping library need not be part of the original transaction.
Problems with the contract vendor should be brought to the attention of the LibraryLinkNJ office as soon as possible. Telephone number is 1-732-752-7720.
Sending Materials via Delivery
Materials sent via delivery should be packaged according to the following guidelines:
Delivery Service Routing Slips
Use the pre-printed master sheets for delivery service routing slips (see http://staff.bccls.org/libraries/delivery_slips.php) for BCCLS member libraries.
When sending items to non-BCCLS libraries do not use lilac travel slips that have meaning only among BCCLS members. See librarylinknj.org/delivery/library-delivery-info for delivery addresses to send loans outside of BCCLS.
Lilac Travel Slips
Lilac Travel Slips indicate requested items. A Lilac Travel Slip must be visibly placed in each item as a flag to the receiving library that the item has been borrowed from another library.
AV materials, including books containing CDs, sent via the delivery service should be enclosed in bubble packets.
Receiving Materials via Delivery
All materials received in delivery must be checked in at the receiving library.
