Opening Song:

"I Saw Mamma Kissing Santa Claus"

Reading:

'Twas the Night Before Christmas by Clement Moore

Songs:

Reindeer Hokey Pokey

You put your antlers in,
you put your antlers out,
you put your antlers in,
then you shake the,em all about.

You do the reindeer pokie
And you turn yourself around,
That's what it's all about.

You put your hooves in ….
You put your tail in ….
You put your red nose in …
You put your whole self in …

Acoustic Frosty

Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul,
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal.
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say,
He was made of snow but the children
Know how he came to life one day.
There must have been some magic in
that old silk hat they found.
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around.
O, Frosty the snowman
Was alive as he could be,
And the children say he could laugh
And play just the same as you and me.

Frosty the snowman knew
The sun was hot that day,
So he said, "Let's run and
We'll have some fun
Now before I melt away."
Down to the village,
With a broomstick in his hand,
Running here and there all
Around the square saying,
Catch me if you can.
He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop.
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler "Stop!"

For Frosty the snow man
Had to hurry on his way,
But he waved goodbye saying,
"Don't you cry, I'll be back again some day.

Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Look at Frosty go.
Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Over the hills of snow.

I'm a Little Snowflake

I'm a little snowflake, icy and round
I fall from the sky and I don't make a sound.
When it's cold I'll stay all day
When it’s warm I melt away (fall to the ground)

S-A-N-T-A
(Sung to the tune of “Bingo”)

I know a man with a long white beard
And Santa is his name-o
S-A-N-T-A, S-A-N-T-A, S-A-N-T-A
And Santa is his name-o!

He wears a red hat and big black boots …
Eight little reindeer pull his sleigh ...
He slides down the chimney with a pack on his back …
He leaves toys, under the Christmas tree …

Christmas Is Coming

Christmas is coming
The goose is getting fat
Please put a penny in the old man’s hat.
If you haven’t got a penny
A ha’penny will do
If you haven’t got a ha’penny
Then God bless you.
Christmas is coming
Candles on the tree
Please hang a stocking
For Saint Nick to see
If you haven’t got a stocking
A little sock will do.
If you haven’t got a little sock
Then God bless you.
Christmas is coming
Season of good cheer
Let’s sing a carol
For the brand new year.
If you haven’t got a carol
A joyous song will do.
If you haven’t got a joyous song
Then God bless you.
