Book of the Day features seasonal and timely titles as well as classics, previously popular titles, staff recommendations, and patrons’ favorite books and authors. There is an archive component to Book of the Day which allows you to find previously displayed titles. Staff can find titles which are scheduled for future dates. These archives are useful for collection development, meeting demand, creating displays, and as aids to library programs.

The list of items to pull (or reject) in order to fill loans for a library’s patrons, or for the patrons of other member libraries.
1) Patron generated requests. "Which staff member is pulling the purples this afternoon?"
2) The purple strips we use in shipment to denote that they are for hold. Ex: "Can you grab me a purple? I have to ship this to Mahwah.”
3) The list of items placed on hold by patrons to be either sent out to other libraries or placed on your own holdshelf.
Term referring to the library regions of New Jersey that are no longer in existence. In the past, the Highlands Regional Library Cooperative served the BCCLS counties of Bergen and Passaic and INFOLINK served the BCCLS counties of Essex and Hudson. All regions have been collapsed into LibraryLinkNJ.
